BUILDING CEMENT sold by weight is Portland cement with mineral additives for concrete and construction mortars. Two variants are available: M450 II/A-K 32.5N and M550 II/A-I 42.5N.
Buying by weight lets customers purchase the quantity needed for a particular job, especially for smaller building and repair projects where a full factory bag is unnecessary.
Used in residential, industrial and agricultural construction for:
Select the cement variant and component proportions for the intended use and project requirements. Packaging mix recipes are advisory.
For both variants, the packaging claims improved frost resistance, improved water resistance and suitability for heat-and-moisture curing. No specific numerical frost- or water-resistance ratings are provided.
Finished mix properties depend on the cement grade, proportions, aggregate quality and water content. Follow the recipe and account for moisture in sand and crushed stone.
Dry-mix the cement, sand and crushed stone thoroughly. Add water to the desired consistency and mix intensively for five minutes, following the packaging instructions.
Keep cement in a dry, covered area away from moisture and contaminants. Cement sold loose must be transferred to tightly closed containers and protected from water.
