Three-quarter straight fireclay bricks are shortened rectangular refractory bricks used alongside full-size units where shorter pieces are required. The range includes products No. 16–19.
Design features
The brick is approximately three-quarters the length of its corresponding full-size unit. Flat faces and square corners allow conventional bonded courses. The ready-made shorter format can reduce on-site cutting where dimensions match the masonry design.
Applications
- Bonding courses in refractory masonry.
- Building corners, course ends and junctions.
- Repairing furnace linings and thermal units.
Product selection
No. 16–17 are 114 mm wide and No. 18–19 are 124 mm wide. Each pair includes 75 mm and 65 mm thicknesses. Match all three dimensions to preserve course thickness and joint layout.
