One-and-a-half-width end-wedge fireclay bricks are shaped refractories for arched and vaulted masonry. They combine a tapered profile with increased width, allowing a curved roof section to be covered with fewer units.
The wider format differs from standard end wedges. Single-sided and double-sided variants have different sloped-face arrangements. The change from thick to thin end allows adjacent bricks to form a curved arch.
Check length, width, both thicknesses and taper orientation. The correct wider format can reduce transverse joints in a curved masonry structure.
