End-wedge fireclay bricks are shaped refractory products for lining rotary kilns. Their wedge profile enables ring-shaped masonry that follows the internal surface of the kiln shell. They are used in cement manufacturing and other industries.
Different dimensions at opposite ends create the taper required for a circular lining. Select the refractory grade and geometry for each kiln section. Applications include chain zones, cooling zones and transition sections of coolers.
Check equipment internal diameter, lining thickness and the intended wedge combination. ShTsU and ShSU variants must be selected for the conditions of the relevant zone; similar shapes are not necessarily interchangeable.
